The games in this book have been compiled over a period of 38 years in Children’s Ministry.
Some of these games are popular games that have been passed on for years. I myself have played many of the games as a child. Some are variations of old games changed to adapt them to a family or Christian setting. It is my desire to provide a valuable resource for Christian families, church groups, Christian camps and those who prepare recreational activities for children and teen ministries.
All the games in this book have been tried and tested over my years as a Children’s Minister. They require very little equipment; few rules and most games can be played in a limited amount of space.
Each game is explained in a uniform format, materials needed, number of players, set up and procedure for playing described in a clear manner.
The games are categorized as Individual, Duel Competition, Team, Group, Circle and Relay. Bear in mind that some games would fit in several different categories. Also these games may be known by many other different names.
